After a day at the park, she asked if someone could pick her up & carry her to the car. She gets tired in the afternoons. Before we know it she will be too big to carry. Children are always out growing the things we carry them in…. like slings & baby carriers & strollers…...

The wonderful, peaceful, comforting, ritual of bedtime stories. Four cinema tickets. One box of popcorn. Two mesmerised girls.
Summer curls. With all the daily hair brushing & plaiting & tying up in elastics that going to school requires through the year, we don’t see her curls as much as we used to. During the Summer holidays I haven’t been brushing or plaiting her hair. It’s been nice to see her curls fly free again.
