Your pictures bring back so many wondeful memories that I have of my two daughters when they were much youger…that time went way too fast. I loved when they dressed up and danced about the place. The cooking looks like lot of fun, what a great idea with all the dry foods…will be trying thaat out with Josh a bit later when he is not inclined to eat it! Just successfully voted in round 2 – you’re blog is amazing! x Jess
What a magical little story. Lovely images Lisa. I can see you enjoy the small moments and love the beauty that we find through the eyes of children.
I love the name Ava, that was on my girls names list!
I just love your photos.
And I am sure you won’t mind Santa hammering a hole in your roof so he can get the pressies in? There might be questions Christmas morning if there isn’t a hole 😉
Wow! Stunning photos! Love the story that goes with it!
Warmest regards,
Joy

Pardon My Poppet ~ Pip Squeaks from the Mummy-verse!
I would have loved 2 daughter, visits by little friends helped to have girly play at home. before that it was things like cars being driven around, soft toy football matches, star wars battles, lego towns, skinned knees, climbing on the roof, or up the tree, backyard cricket etc……. Love my boys too!!
Thank you for stopping by Joy!
Libby, I imagine the change from your two boys to your girl must have been quite different. I love the idea of star wars battles, lego towns & skinned knees…. growing up with two brothers that all sounds very familiar…. with the addition of He-man & skeletor battles of course!
Peggy… yes beauty through the eyes of children, is the ultimate inspiration! x
Jess… All too soon it will be me saying to another mother how I remember when my girls were young. Time does move by quickly. You should try the ‘cooking’ play with Josh, it’s keeps them occupied for quite a while. You just have to be willing to sweep the floor afterwards, but otherwise the mess is OK. Lentils, pasta, rice, breadcrumbs…. anything you have in packets… & lots of patty pans 🙂
Becky, there will definitely be questions from miss 5 when there isn’t a hole & I am going to have to start thinking up an answer to that one! x
