Sharing this simple idea for a personal fathers day gift to give daddy’s from your little ones. For a couple of years in a row I made Pete these keepsakes. A cut out of his hand & our children’s hands. The first year was his & Ava’s hand, the following year I gave him one...
Hi Lisa,

You really capture well the precious moment of growth.

It can be nice to have treasures in a box… Treasures that sparkle & you can hold in your hands… Something that catches your eye… Something pretty that promises to make you happy if the treasure is your own… But amongst the things I hope my girls will grow to know, I hope they learn...
Ava ran in the door from preschool recently, waving a party invitation in her hand. She was very excited she had been invited to a ‘super hero’ party for Jayden from her preschool class. After the excitement died down she eventually said… “mum?… what’s a super hero?”. I reminded her that she actually did used...
Lisa, you capture the everyday in such an extraordinarily beautiful way.
Your family is so beautiful; the girls have grown so much!

The top images of Ava were taken in January when we took the girls to see their first movie at the cinema. They loved the experience, but they also loved the popcorn! Now every time we have a movie night at home Ava insists we make popcorn, so it’s becoming a bit of a ritual...
Today I am grateful for… Saturday morning brekky… & for miss 2 who kindly offers to help mix & taste test the batter… and for the little hands that appeared in front of me when I was cooking & so sweetly brought me a cup of tea… (even though reaching up to the bench wasn’t easy) & for home...
Some images from our weekend. A rainy long weekend. It’s Ava’s turn to bring Twigga the Giraffe home from pre-school for a week. We need to reprt back on Twigga’s adventures with Ava next week when she returns to pre-school (she goes 2 days a week). We rugged up and went out to our...
A record of the day Anouk turned two. She was straight out of bed & first on her agenda was cooking up a storm in the play kitchen Sometimes I can’t believe the amount of play these two fit in between waking up & eating breakfast… It was a normal day, with no particular plans,...
Oh wow – i had a slightly auful day and just submitted an assignment one minute before due (stressful!) but watching that cheered me up so much. Your kids look so gorgeous in photos but how much more in action. Aren’t they amazing – she is talking beautifully. Wow. Thanks for sharing those precious moments.

Oh sorry about your day Hannah…. I have been there & done that ‘submitting assignments with a minute to spare’ thing! It really is stressful. Glad you made it through! Thanks for stopping by my blog tonight 🙂

Oh & I just saw on your blog that you are dreaming of Paris! lucky you! xx
Last weekend we were out hunting for locations for a couple of up coming shoots and letting the kids play along the way. They were having such a good time. The moon was in the sky & they didn’t want to stop playing. I love the pace of weekends. The feeling that...

Hi Janine, Thank you so much for your lovely comments!! and for taking the time to look through our work.
The heart on the path is in Bronte on a path as you head up from Bronte park (behind the beach) to the road.
Have a great day.
Lisa xx
Absolutely beautiful. I love your daughter’s hand inside her dad’s hand.
Thanks for sharing this. Will keep it in mind for next year.
